Our volunteer leaders make Easter Camp happen! If you’d like to be a leader at our Mylor Camp this year you can register on this page.
We are careful to ensure that our leaders have a current criminal history check (WWCC or DCSI) and have completed our mandatory Child Protection Training prior to camp.
We also require all of our leaders to attend our leader training day, which will be held on the 27th February 2021 from 9am-1pm at Unley Park Baptist (1 Northgate St, Unley Park), so add it to your calendar now!

Tip: If you attend a youth group, please provide the name of the group or church
Tip: We may contact this person as a character reference
All leaders are strongly encouraged to have a prayer partner for EC21 for support and encouragement.
Tip: We can't guarantee you'll be on the team/s you choose here, but we'll do our best!
All leaders are required to have a current criminal history check (DCSI Clearance or Working With Children Check) which expires after the final day of camp (5/4/21). If you do not have a current police check you will need to organise this through the church where you are currently serving.
Tip: DCSI valid until current expiry. WWCC valid for 5 years.
All leaders are required to have completed Child Protection Training (full seminar or refesher update) through Baptist Churches of SA via Child Protection Solutions within the last 3 years.
Tip: Please note you need to have completed your training within the past 3 years to be considered up-to-date.
Please upload a copy of your valid criminal history check (WWCC or DCSI) and Child Protection Training Completion Certificate here. Please save the file as "Your Name - Certificate Name" and ensure that both your name and the date of issue is clearly visible.
If you have any questions about DCSI Screenings, WWCCs or child protection training please contact the Baptist Centre on 8357 1755.

All campers and leaders will need to satisfy our COVID requirements.
On arrival to camp, campers/leaders will need to be screened prior to entry. The screening questions are likely to be (depending on current situation):
have you returned from overseas travel in the last 14 days?
have you visited or lived in any known hot spots for COVID-19 within Australia in the last 14 days?
have you had any close contact with a COVID-19 positive case?
do you have any flu-like symptoms? (eg cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, fever, chills, loss of smell or altered sense of taste, headache, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea)
Answers to all these questions needs to be ‘No’ to be allowed into the camp. Additionally, this year parents will need to say good-bye at the registration desk and will not be able to enter the campsite.
I have a living faith in Jesus Christ. I am an active and regular member of a local Baptist church. I will offer myself to serve on Easter Camp doing whatever is required of me at all times. I agree to attend all meetings and training days leading up to camp. I understand that my youth leader or pastor may be contacted by the Easter Camp Core Team. I understand I will be a role model on camp and will act accordingly. I will provide duty of care to the young people in my care at all times. I agree to complete a Police Check and undergo Child Protection Training. I am willing to work under the leadership of the EC Core Team and Camp Directors.
I understand that as a volunteer for the Baptist Churches of SA I will work within the code of ethics and child protection policies and procedures established by the Baptist Churches of SA. In the event that a complaint is made against me I will cooperate with the Director of Professional Standards and any investigation that is established into my conduct on camp.
